Position Summary

Skybox is seeking a technically proficient Senior Corporate Accountant to manage advanced accounting and consolidation functions across our portfolio of entities and Joint Ventures (JVs). This role is designed for a CPA- certified professional who thrives in high-complexity environments involving multi-entity consolidations and partnership accounting.

Note on Scope: This role focuses on detailed oversight, month-end close, and financial consistency. It is separate and distinct from our Project Cost Manager, who handles site-specific construction tracking. This role provides supervision and review of transactional activities handled by accounting associates rather than performing day-to-day invoice or expense processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End & Consolidations: Lead the month-end close process and provide critical multi-entity consolidation support including complex inter-company eliminations.

• Partnership & JV Accounting: Manage complex accounting for Joint Venture structures, ensuring accuracy in capital tracking and distributions, deal and transaction reporting, waterfalls etc.

• Transactional Oversight: Provide accounting supervision and review of transactional processes (AP, AR, and payroll) to ensure corporate-wide consistency.

• Cash Management: Support cash tracking, review and ensure accuracy of cash activity and reconciliations, and manage corporate cash forecasting software.

• Financial Integrity: Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, support schedules, and prepare month-end close entries.

• Systems Management: Play a key role in the transition to NetSuite software platforms

Qualifications

• Certification: CPA Required.

• Experience: 7–10 years of professional accounting experience in an established corporate environment.

• Supervisory Background: Prior experience supervising accounting staff or reviewing transactional processes (AP, AR, etc.).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (Strict requirement).

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in multi-entity environments, consolidations, and partnership/JV accounting.

• Software Proficiency: Mandatory proficiency in NetSuite, and Microsoft/Google Suites
